New Blood-Based gum graft tested against standard surgery
NCT ID NCT06643507
Summary
This study is testing two different surgical methods to cover exposed tooth roots caused by advanced gum recession. It compares a new technique using a membrane made from the patient's own blood proteins (Alb-PRF) against the traditional method using a graft of connective tissue from the roof of the mouth. The goal is to see which method is better at covering the exposed root and improving gum health.
