Gentler dental cleaning tested to help gums grow back
NCT ID NCT06044727
Summary
This study compared two ways of cleaning teeth below the gumline to treat early-stage gum recession. It tested a gentle, minimally invasive cleaning method against a standard method to see which helps the gums recover and cover the exposed tooth root better. The trial involved 54 healthy adults with mild gum recession and followed them for 6 months.
