NCT ID NCT07529340
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding hyaluronic acid (a natural healing substance) to standard gum surgery helps cover exposed tooth roots better than surgery alone. About 34 adults with receding gums will be randomly assigned to get either the standard surgery or the surgery plus hyaluronic acid. The main goal is to see if more treated gums achieve full root coverage after 12 months.
