First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for covering a single receding gum on a lower premolar. 24 adults with good oral health will be randomly assigned to receive either the modified tunnel technique or the tunneled coronally advanced flap, both using a small graft from the palate. The goal is to see which method provides better root coverage, reduces tooth sensitivity, and improves appearance over the short and long term.
