Needles vs gel: the fight to fill the gaps in your smile
NCT ID NCT07280507
Summary
This small, early-stage study is testing two different methods to regrow the small triangle of gum tissue (papilla) that sometimes recedes between teeth, creating a black space. Researchers are comparing a microneedling technique with a patient's own blood product (i-PRF) against an injection of hyaluronic acid gel. The goal is to see which method is better at rebuilding this tissue as a less invasive alternative to surgery.
