Gel tested to speed up gum healing after surgery
NCT ID NCT07473453
Summary
This study tested whether applying a hyaluronic acid gel during gum surgery helps the gums heal better and faster. It involved 26 patients who had persistent deep gum pockets after initial treatment. Researchers compared the gel to a placebo (saltwater) to see if it improved healing, reduced inflammation, and helped patients feel better after surgery.
