One-step gum graft and dental implant could save time and improve outcomes
NCT ID NCT06645925
First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a new approach where a gum graft is done at the same time as placing a dental implant, instead of as a separate earlier surgery. The goal is to see if this one-step method gives enough healthy gum tissue around the implant. 22 adults missing lower back teeth with thin gums will take part and be followed for one year.
