NCT ID NCT06645925

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a new approach where a gum graft is done at the same time as placing a dental implant in the lower back jaw, instead of as a separate surgery first. The goal is to see if this one-step method improves the width and health of the gum tissue around the implant. About 22 adults with missing lower back teeth and thin gums will take part and be followed for one year.
