New gum graft treatments aim to stop shrinkage, improve healing
NCT ID NCT07303192
Summary
This study tested two methods to help gum grafts heal better and shrink less after surgery. Forty-eight adults with receding gums received a standard gum graft, with some also getting an injection of their own platelet-rich fibrin or low-level laser therapy. The goal was to see if these extra treatments could help the grafted tissue keep its size and improve healing over six months.
