Your own blood may ease pain after gum surgery

NCT ID NCT06567548

Summary

This study is testing if two different membranes made from a patient's own blood can reduce pain and improve healing after a common gum graft procedure. The surgery takes tissue from the roof of the mouth, which can be painful. Researchers will compare the new membranes to a standard dressing in 39 patients to see which one works best for comfort and recovery.
