New gum graft treatment aims to speed healing, ease pain
NCT ID NCT07409571
Summary
This study is testing if applying a topical steroid medication (triamcinolone acetonide) to the roof of the mouth can help it heal better after gum graft surgery. The goal is to see if it reduces pain, speeds up healing, and improves the patient's quality of life compared to a standard collagen sponge. Researchers will enroll 34 healthy adults who need this type of dental surgery.
