New gum healing patch tested to ease Post-Surgery pain
NCT ID NCT07072546
Summary
This study tested two materials, chitosan and i-PRF, to see if they help the roof of the mouth heal better and hurt less after a gum graft is taken from there. It involved 68 patients who needed this type of dental surgery. Researchers compared the new materials to the standard treatment to see which led to faster healing, less pain, and better comfort for patients.
