New gels tested to ease pain after gum surgery
NCT ID NCT07439068
Summary
This study tested two special gels made from a patient's own blood to see if they could help the roof of the mouth heal faster and with less pain after gum graft surgery. 45 patients had the surgery and were randomly assigned to receive one of the gels or a standard sponge. Researchers measured healing speed, pain levels, and medication use over several weeks.
