Gum graft tested to save failing dental implants
NCT ID NCT07471386
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a small gum tissue graft helps treat infection around dental implants. Researchers will compare standard cleaning treatment alone to cleaning plus a minor surgical graft to thicken the gums. The goal is to see if the extra gum tissue helps control the infection better and keeps the implant healthier long-term.
