Scientists photograph healing gums to measure color match

NCT ID NCT07199686

Summary

This study aimed to measure the color of gums after a common dental graft surgery. Researchers used special polarized photography to take detailed pictures of the healed graft and the surrounding natural gum tissue in 50 patients. The goal was to see how closely the graft's color matches the original gum and what factors might affect the final appearance.
