New stitch could make gum surgery less painful
NCT ID NCT05395923
Summary
This study tested a special pre-placed stitch in the roof of the mouth to see if it reduces bleeding and pain during a common gum graft surgery. It involved 32 patients and measured blood loss during the procedure, pain levels after surgery, and patient satisfaction. The goal was to see if this technique makes the surgery more comfortable for patients and easier for surgeons.
