Needle vs. needle: the battle to banish black triangles between your teeth
NCT ID NCT06314256
Summary
This study tested two non-surgical injections to fill in small, dark gaps (called black triangles) that can appear between teeth due to gum loss. Thirteen participants received both treatments—one made from their own blood (i-PRF) and one a gel (hyaluronic acid)—on different sides of their mouth. Researchers compared which injection was better at closing the gaps and which one patients preferred over three months.
