First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests if chewing ginger-mint or cinnamon gum can reduce nausea and vomiting after a special type of chemotherapy (PIPAC) for colorectal cancer that has spread. 75 adults will be split into three groups: one chews ginger-mint gum, one chews cinnamon gum, and one gets standard care. The goal is to see if these natural flavors offer a simple, drug-free way to feel better after treatment.
