Summary
This study is testing if adding new steps to the standard deep cleaning for serious gum disease leads to better results. Researchers want to see if applying an oxygen-releasing gel, sometimes with a special light treatment, helps reduce harmful bacteria and improves gum health more effectively. They will compare these new approaches against the standard cleaning alone in 42 patients over three months.
