Could your own blood help heal your gums?
NCT ID NCT07293962
Summary
This study is testing if a liquid made from a patient's own blood can help gums heal better after a deep cleaning for moderate to severe gum disease. In this split-mouth trial, one side of a patient's mouth gets the blood product while the other side gets a standard saline rinse for comparison. Researchers will measure gum health over 3 months to see if the new treatment leads to better results.
