New gum disease gel trial aims to boost standard cleaning

Summary
This study is testing if adding special gels to the standard deep cleaning for gum disease (periodontitis) works better. Researchers will compare the usual cleaning alone to cleaning with one or two extra gels applied. The goal is to see if these add-ons help reduce gum bleeding, plaque, and deep pockets around teeth more effectively over three months.
