NCT ID NCT07438977

Summary

This study aims to understand how standard, non-surgical gum disease treatment affects certain markers in the blood related to bone health. Researchers will give 16 patients with advanced gum disease a professional dental cleaning and measure specific substances in their blood before and after treatment. The goal is to learn more about the body's response to gum treatment and its possible connection to overall bone metabolism.
