New gel bandage for gums aims to speed healing after dental treatment

Summary
This study is testing whether a special hydrogel dressing helps gums heal better after a deep dental cleaning for moderate gum disease. Researchers will compare people who use the gel dressing after brushing to people who receive no extra treatment. The goal is to see if protecting the gums with this dressing leads to less bleeding and faster healing over 60 days.
