Gum disease fight: olive oil gel vs. turmeric gel
NCT ID NCT07184268
Summary
This study tested if adding a special gel to standard deep cleaning works better for treating moderate gum disease. Researchers compared a gel made from ozonated olive oil against a gel made from curcumin (from turmeric). They measured how well the gums reattached to teeth and reduced inflammation and plaque in 40 adults over three months.
