Gentle spray vs. metal tools: which cleans gums better?
NCT ID NCT07200284
Summary
This study compared two standard deep cleaning methods for treating gum disease (periodontitis). Researchers tested a gentle spray system (Airflow®) against traditional metal hand tools to see which causes less tissue damage and better reduces inflammation. They measured gum health and collected fluid samples from 36 participants to analyze tiny cell particles and inflammation signals.
