New gum cleaning technique put to the test

Summary
This study aims to see if a newer, multi-step dental cleaning method called Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) works better than standard cleaning for controlling gum disease. It will involve 18 adults with periodontitis who will receive one of the two cleaning treatments. Researchers will check participants' gum health and collect fluid samples from their gums after 1 and 3 months to compare the results.
