New cell therapy tested for patients with severe transplant complications
NCT ID NCT07253259
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of an experimental cell injection called GT729 for people with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) that hasn't improved with standard treatments. The trial will enroll 36 adults who developed cGVHD after a stem cell transplant and have tried at least two other therapies without success. Researchers will primarily monitor for side effects and see if the cell injection helps reduce disease symptoms.
