New pill tested to cool down Menopause's worst symptom
NCT ID NCT06726850
Summary
This study tested whether an experimental pill called GS1-144 could safely reduce the frequency and severity of hot flashes and night sweats in postmenopausal women. It involved 129 Chinese women who experienced at least seven moderate-to-severe episodes per day. For 12 weeks, participants received either the real pill or a placebo (a dummy pill) to see which was more effective.
