Baby formula showdown: goat vs cow milk in new safety study
NCT ID NCT06312059
First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether a goat-milk or cow-milk infant formula is as good as a standard US cow-milk formula for healthy babies' growth. Over 400 full-term infants were fed one of the three formulas for 16 weeks. Researchers measured weight gain and checked for any side effects to see if the new formulas are safe and support normal growth.
