Summary
This study tests whether having local health workers measure children's growth every month can prevent severe malnutrition in two rural villages in Guinea-Bissau. About 400 children aged 6 months to 5 years will take part. The study also compares three simple ways to measure arm size to find the easiest method for health workers to use.
