Summary
This study developed and tested a daily-activity-based program to help teens in youth custody and their staff develop a growth mindset—the belief that abilities can improve with effort. Nine participants took part in the program for about 8 weeks. Researchers measured changes in how teens felt about their daily task performance and satisfaction, and also looked at what helps or hinders a growth mindset in this setting.
