First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study created and tested a program that uses everyday activities to encourage a growth mindset—the belief that you can improve your abilities—among teens in youth custody and the staff who work with them. Nine participants took part in the program for about 8 weeks. Researchers measured changes in how teens felt about their daily task performance and satisfaction, and also looked at what helps or hinders a growth mindset in this setting.
