Summary
This study followed up with 36 young adults who were treated with growth hormone as children for short stature. Researchers wanted to see if the treatment's positive effects on their emotional and social well-being as kids lasted into adulthood. They did this by having participants fill out the same quality-of-life questionnaires they completed when they started treatment years ago.
