NCT ID NCT06611371

Summary

This study is testing a new vaccine designed to protect healthy women of childbearing age from Group B Streptococcus (GBS) infections. GBS can cause serious illness in newborns. Researchers are giving about 600 women in the US and South Africa either the vaccine at one of three different strengths or a placebo shot to see how safe it is and if it triggers a good immune response.
