Summary

This 6-month study tests two cosmetic scalp products to see if they can reduce the appearance of gray hair. About 380 healthy adults aged 25-60 with 15-35% gray hair will use one of the products. Researchers will assess gray hair through expert visual checks, image analysis, and participant feedback.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a cosmetic product that reduces the visible amount of gray hair.
What could go wrong
This is an early-stage cosmetic study, not a medical treatment. Results may be modest or not noticeable, and individual results can vary.
