Heel pain relief: does adding insoles to massage therapy make a difference?
NCT ID NCT07441044
Summary
This study tested whether combining a special massage technique called Graston with custom foot insoles works better than the massage technique alone for people with persistent heel pain from plantar fasciitis. Forty adults with heel pain for at least six weeks received either the massage plus insoles or just the massage, along with standard physical therapy exercises. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, ankle flexibility, and daily function to see which approach provided better relief.
