Comics in the classroom: can graphic novels teach future therapists about mental health?

NCT ID NCT07192445

Summary

This study explored whether using graphic novels and comics could be a helpful way to teach psychology students about mental health. Researchers had 158 second-year psychology students read excerpts from mental health-themed graphic novels. They then measured how easy and engaging the students found the materials, and whether the experience changed their motivation or understanding.
