New score aims to paint clearer picture of elderly mobility

NCT ID NCT07236866

Summary

This study is testing a new scoring system called the GRAMPA score, which is designed to measure how well hospitalized elderly patients can perform basic movements like getting out of bed and sitting up. Researchers will have two different healthcare professionals use the score on the same 55 patients to see if they get consistent results. The goal is to create a better tool for doctors and nurses to communicate about a patient's movement abilities, which could help tailor their care.
