First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at two types of bone grafts (patient's own bone vs donor bone) used with a collagen membrane to repair bone defects near tooth roots. Fifty adults with these defects will be randomly assigned to one graft type. Healing will be tracked with 3D X-rays over 12 months to see if donor bone works as well as the patient's own bone.
