Promising drug takes on rare nerve disorder in major new trial

Summary
This study tests a drug called govorestat against a placebo in 155 people aged 16-65 with a rare inherited nerve disease (CMT-SORD) that causes weakness and trouble walking. The goal is to see if the drug improves daily function and walking speed over up to 36 months. Participants will not know if they receive the drug or placebo.
