Could a cookie help tame diabetes heart risks?
NCT ID NCT07268781
Summary
This study is testing whether special cookies can help improve cholesterol levels in people with type 2 diabetes. The cookies are made from Golden Rice and red betel leaf extract, which researchers think might lower bad cholesterol and raise good cholesterol. Over 100 participants will eat the cookies for 28 days to see if their blood fat levels improve compared to people eating regular Golden Rice cookies.
