Summary

This study tests whether semaglutide (Wegovy), a drug used for diabetes and weight loss, can help people reduce or stop using methamphetamine. It involves 162 adults with moderate to severe methamphetamine use disorder who will receive either the drug or a placebo over 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in meth use through urine tests and self-reports to see if the treatment is safe and effective.
