Blood sugar swings linked to heart death risk in diabetics
NCT ID NCT07506824
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how ups and downs in blood sugar levels affect the health of diabetic patients with heart disease while they are in the coronary care unit. Researchers will track 120 adults to see if unstable glucose leads to more deaths or serious heart events like heart attacks or strokes. The goal is to understand the risks better, not to test a new treatment.
