Summary

This study looked at whether giving women glucose drinks during labor could reduce the need for forceps or vacuum delivery. Over 4,000 women were randomly assigned to either drink glucose or follow standard fasting rules. The goal was to see if the drinks made labor shorter and safer for both mother and baby.
