Summary
This study looked at why people with pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1A (PHP1A) have a higher chance of developing type 2 diabetes. Researchers measured how well the body uses insulin and how the pancreas makes insulin in 14 participants with PHP1A or a related condition. The goal was to find the root cause of this increased diabetes risk.
