First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests whether steroids (glucocorticoids) can help people with severe liver injury caused by medications, especially when jaundice (high bilirubin) is present. About 232 adults will receive either steroids or standard care to see if the drug improves liver function within two weeks. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage this serious condition.
