Summary
This study tests a weekly injection of semaglutide (a GLP-1 drug) in 76 adults with 'double diabetes' — a mix of type 1 diabetes and inherited insulin resistance. The goal is to see if the drug improves blood sugar control and helps with weight loss. Participants must be over 18, have type 1 diabetes, a BMI of 27 or higher, and a family history of type 2 diabetes.
