New eye drop targets common eyelid infection

NCT ID NCT07400965

Summary

This study is testing a new medication called GLK-321 for people with Demodex blepharitis, a common eyelid condition caused by tiny mites. About 250 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the active treatment or a placebo eye drop for 6 weeks. The main goal is to see if GLK-321 safely and effectively clears the crusty debris (collarettes) from the eyelashes that is a key sign of this condition.
