Doctors track brain tumor patients to see how treatment works in real life
NCT ID NCT02684838
Summary
This study observed 272 adult brain tumor patients who received Gliadel wafers as part of their normal medical care. Researchers tracked patients for up to three years to collect real-world information on how long patients lived, whether their cancer returned, and what side effects they experienced. The goal was to better understand how this treatment performs outside of controlled clinical trials.
