Glow-in-the-dark dye could help surgeons find hidden ovarian cancer

Summary

This study tests a drug called Gleolan that makes ovarian cancer cells glow during surgery. Surgeons can then see and remove tumors they might otherwise miss. About 170 women with suspected or recurrent ovarian cancer will take part, and the study lasts about 2 weeks per person.
