Eye pressure battle: two surgeries face off in glaucoma trial
NCT ID NCT04658095
Summary
This study aimed to compare the safety and effectiveness of two different surgical devices for lowering eye pressure in people with open-angle glaucoma who have already had cataract surgery. It planned to test the OMNI Surgical System (used in two different ways) against the iStent inject device. The trial was terminated early and only enrolled 10 participants, far fewer than the 459 originally planned.
